Renowned Positive Discipline expert, Jody McVittie, offers practical advice to help kids thrive, by parenting with courage and connection.
About the Speaker:
Jody McVittie, MD received her medical degree from Case Western University and completed a family medicine residency and fellowship in Modesto, California. Returning to the Northwest, Jody shifted her focus to broader community issues that impact health outcomes including parenting, education and trauma. She is co-founder and Director of Programs for Sound Discipline, a Seattle-based non-profit and works with hundreds of schools and community groups, locally, nationally and abroad. She was recently honored by the Center for Ethical Leadership with the Bill Grace Legacy award.
