Danzarts Presents "Las Posadas - Fiestas Navidenas"

Come enjoy and become a part of the Hispanic community's rich cultural tradition of "Las Posadas" on December 7th at C3 Performing Arts Center where the children of DanzArts will commemorate "Las Posadas," a celebration with origins in Spain, which has become a beloved holiday festivity throughout Latin America and now the United States (feel free to change this around, I just didn't want it to seem like an exclusively Mexican event). This "Fiesta Navideña" or Christmas celebration is community play that happens in the streets, telling the Christmas story, neighbor to neighbor. Sabor Mexico and Danzarts Children's Academy dancers will take the stage and immerse you with Ballet folklorico from the regions of Michoacan, Veracruz, and the inaugurating dances from Guerrero. In addition, this year we will be premiering performances by La Esencia Flamenca with live musicians. The dancers will dance with Bata de colas (trains) and will show influence of Mexico Veracruz.
