Songwriter Circle: Cal Scott and Richard Moore with special guest Mel Kubik

Veteran Portland singer-songwriters Cal Scott (Trail Band, Kevin Burke) and Richard Moore (The Wombats) welcome Quarterflasher Mel Kubik to their bimonthly circle at O'Connor's Vault in Multnomah Village. Tickets are $12 in advance from brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door. Seating is very limited and the last two shows sold out, so jump on it soon.

Mel Kubnik is a rare combination of the voice of an angel with multi-instrumental chops. That's what's kept her status as singer-keyboardist and sax player with Quarterflash, and keeps her busy in solo projects and recently as part of the in-you-face women's music collective, The Vulva Underground. Mel's keyboard will bring a new twist to the circle and her long friendship with Cal and Richard should keep the banter lively.
