Boston Firefly Project New Member Orientation and Retreat

Join the Boston Firefly Project on Sunday, January 11th for a day long orientation and planning retreat.
For the first time, the bi-annual BFP retreat will be open to potential new members and will feature workshops introducing participants to Amnesty International and the Boston Firefly Project, Essential Skills for Organizers,Legislative Organizing and opportunities to meet and ask questions of current members. The afternoon session will include more skill and content based workshops, as well as a planning session for future events including health and human rights, Close Guantanamo Bay activities and more! Participants are asked to engage in the full day of training and planning. We're asking participants to register on a sliding scale fee of $2-$10. The cost includes coffee and a light breakfast as well as lunch. Please register by January 7th, 2009.
