A Weather with Christopher Teret and Honey Clouds
After First Friday, come catch the homecoming performance of Mainer Aaron Gerber with his A Weather cast of characters from the "other" Portland. The quintet's earnest approach invites comparison with Bright Eyes but is more of a spin on the romantic tradition upheld by Kings of Convenience, Camera Obscura, and Belle and Sebastian. Local folkie Christopher Teret will summon the ghost of Guthrie and Honey Clouds will bring the house down to round out the night.
