Bath Comedy Club - Widcombe Nights with Ronnie Golden
A triumphant return to indoor comedy for Bath Comedy with the new fortnightly Comedy Club gig at Widcombe Social!
Three top notch comedians in one night!
Covid-secure conditions incuding temperature checks, regular sanitising and cleaning, air conditioning, distancing disguised as cabaret seating, table service.
This week's star line-up:
RONNIE GOLDEN
From opening shows for Tom Jones, Scott Walker and Engelbert Humperdinck as a teenaged guitarist, Ronnie worked with David Bowie then went on to form cult late 70s renegades 'Fabulous Poodles', whose album 'Mirror Stars' outsold both The Clash and The Jam in America in the early 80s.
A "Swiss Army Knife of Entertainment", his comedy career spans working alongside The Comic Strip, featuring in The Young Ones and Spitting Image, and touring several shows with Barry Cryer.
He's lived a life of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll so you don't have to!
"Funny as hell" - Fringe Review
SALLY-ANNE HAYWARD
A charming and popular performer with a winning brand of autobiographical humour, Sally manages to endear herself to any audience by taking them on a journey through her slightly eccentric world, including insights into the female psyche.
Sally has developed a unique brand of sweet young lady cum sharp-witted fox, wrapped in layers of eminently likeable stage persona.
"A bubbly stream of comedy anecdotesa delightfully chatty actan immensely likeable stage manner" - Chortle
MORGAN REES
A rising star of the UK circuit, this softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. He has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award, was runner-up in So You Think Youre Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
"Fast gags, unexpected swerves and rolling stories" Sunday Times
