The World Premiere of Handball by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld
In Handball, celebrated playwright Seth Zvi Rosenfeld delivers an explosive take on gentrification in a modern New York City neighborhood. The play tracks two hot, summer days in a city park filled with characters as unique and diverse as the city itself. Tempers flare as new transplants work to make their mark while old residents struggle to maintain their way of life.
Handball is presented by Urban Theatre Movement. Previous productions include the critically acclaimed Short Eyes by Miguel Pinero and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis.
