Black Cat Lost
Obie Award-winner Erin Courtney's Black Cat Lost dives into the beauty of impermanence and the pain of loss. Sliding between the philosophical and the personal, the intimate cast uses poetic movement and sound to meditate on the beauty of our impermanent relationships with the world and each other. Courtney's dynamic text draws on zen poetry, silent film imagery, fiction and memoirs to invoke individual and universal themes. Characters and stories appear and disappear with ease, creating a kaleidoscopic view of life, death and the unseen.
