Stuff I Like: Crafting An Irresistible Blog
You don't just want to post on Facebook about your neighbor's organic silk worm farm. You want to share your passion for food, movies, politics, or fashion and you want readers to pay attention to what you have to say! In this one day class, successful journalist, Tim Grierson, will help you create a compelling concept for your blog and explore ways to reach an ever expanding audience. Tim will share samples of some of the hottest blogs on the net. Also, through fun in-class exercises, you'll brainstorm blog posts and get detailed instructor feedback on a blog post or concept. By the end of this class, you'll have everything you need to take the cyber world by storm!

About Tim Grierson:
Tim Grierson is a film and music critic whose writing has appeared in Screen International, Paste, Playboy, LA Weekly, Backstage, The Village Voice, and Gawker. He is the author of four books, including "FilmCraft: Screenwriting", a profile of the world's greatest screenwriters, and a biography of the rock band Wilco. Tim has served on the jury for the Los Angeles Film Festival and of the City Of Lights, City Of Angels (COL COA) Film festival. He is the currently the Vice President of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
