REACH
Set in New Orleans in 2006, a year after Hurricane Katrina, we learn what happens after the media has gone. In rationalizing great tragedy, Lindsey and Jordan find themselves stagnant and detached. And as secrets slowly rise to the surface, they soon find each other as perhaps their only hope from their own self-destruction. This is a dry, witty, emotionally driven piece about two people clinging to one another as their external structure falls apart. Emily Tuckman, playing Lindsey, has won an OOBR award for her work at Vital Theatre Company and received the best ensemble award for planet connections in 2009, as well as the Audience Favorite award for her performance in Commencing in this year's Frigid Festival. Christo Grabowski* playing Jordan is fantastic and powerful!
