Shrunken Shakespeare Company brings you their sophomore production, "Two Gentlemen of Verona" at The Upper West Side's Underground Lounge:
"What happens when a sexy city girl comes between two suburban "gentlemen" and their long-term bromance? Come to the Duchess' Court, a dark and lusty cabaret bar tucked away in the fast paced streets of Milan to find out. With beer and liquor flowing, bawling and laughter, a song or two, incompetent wait-staff, some cross dressing, and everybody's favorite sassy gay best friend, find out what love's got to do with it! Love, sex, betrayal, friendship, music and all out weirdness are rampant in this fun and hilarious comedy."
An immersive, music infused take on Shakespeare's first play, set in a dive bar in present day Italy.
Join us and raise a glass with your new favorite drinking buddies in Verona!
Directed by Raymond Zilberberg
Featuring: Sloan Bradford, Donovan Christie Jr., Yvonne Cone, Liza Dealey-Thomason, Jennifer Martina, Blaire O'Leary, Sam Parrott and Brendan Sokler
And original music from Rob Bottega of The Harmonica Lewinskies!
