Prescott Park Arts Festival Drag Queen Story Hour
Drag Queen Story Hour is just what it sounds like: local drag queens reading stories to children. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, and where dress up is real.
PPAF is teaming with NH Drag Queens to bring you Drag Queen Story Hour by reading stories, dance and movement, and have a whole lot of fun, all while social distancing in our wonderful Prescott Park.
NH Drag Queen's mission is to teach kids about drag and gender diversity, teach empathy, and provide positive queer role models through a fun literary experience
Following Prescott Park Art Festival's commitment to accessibility, the story hour is a $15 suggested donation per family. These funds will help support the festival during the challenges and restrictions of COVID-19.
Advance reservations are required.
