Jazz Nights at Roedde House - Swamp People
Steeped in the bluesy folk-jazz 'swamp music' of the Jimmy Giuffre 3, featuring Jim Hall and Bob Brookmeyer, Swamp People pays tribute to Giuffre's unique style whilst exploring new boundaries of its own. With Emma Postl (voice), Jared Burrows(guitar) and Geoff Claridge (bass clarinet).
Tickets are $10. Seating is very limited. Reservations are strongly advised. The show starts at 7pm sharp.
This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm.

There are 4 available spots, designated as "Roedde House Museum Guests", on a private parking lot at the back of the house (alongside Broughton St).
Other options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route).
