Small Business Lunch at Halls
The King Street Marketing Group and Halls Chophouse are pleased to present Jack Jones, Vice President and General Manager of Boeing South Carolina as the speaker for Small Business Lunch at Halls, Thursday, October 3, 2013.

The Boeing Plant in North Charleston has made an extraordinary impact on our local economy with the 787 Dreamliner. What's next for Boeing?

Jack Jones has overall leadership responsibility for Boeing's South Carolina operations and facilities that also fabricates, assembles and installs systems for the aft fuselage sections of the 787 and joins and integrates 787 mid-body fuselage sections from structural partners.

He received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Washington and started his career with Boeing as an Industrial Engineer in 1980 on the 757 Program. Jones spent time on several commercial and military programs, including B-2 Stealth Bomber and Air Force One prior to his assignment in Everett as the Fuselage Responsibility Center Director.

In March 2008, he began an assignment as vice president of Final Assembly and Change Incorporation for the 787, leading the team responsible for assembling the Dreamliner at the Everett factory.

Before joining the Boeing South Carolina team in March 2011, Jones served as vice president of the Everett Delivery Center, overseeing Airplane-on-Ground, Paint, Pre-Flight and Delivery operations for the Boeing wide-body models (747, 767, 777 and 787) assembled in Everett, Wash. He was named to that assignment in October 2003.

Each month Small Business Lunch at Halls features a distinguished speaker from the business, civic or political arenas upstairs at Halls Chophouse with an imaginative three-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Matthew Niessner.

Tickets are $29 per person for the luncheon and parking. Doors open at 11:30 AM and lunch is served promptly at noon. Limited seating of 80 participants provides an intimate experience with each speaker.

Halls Chophouse is located at 434 King Street in downtown Charleston. Parking, validated at the event, is available at the Visitors Center Garage on Ann Street between King and Meeting Streets.
