Creature
The opening play of the 2013/2014 Brüka season, Creature, premiered Off -Broadway in 2009 and is very loosely based on The Book of Margery Kempe, written in 1430, sometimes considered the first autobiography in English. This play Creature, written by Heidi Schreck and directed by Mary Bennett, is a passionate, spooky and witty theatre offering for October running the entire month through October 26, 2013. Playwright and OBIE Award winning actor Heidi Schreck conjures a collision of contemporary and medieval imaginations: a very funny, a little bit scary new play about faith and its messengers.
