SB Edwards Canada 2020 1h 44m Festival - Local Sightings Film Festival 2020: Feature Films
Nick Colby, once a fearless and passionate activist punk, is now a shadow of his former self. The radical love of his life went on a humanitarian mission to Nigeria and ghosted him, and his habit of getting fired from dead-end jobs has landed him a gig in a sweatshop. There, he meets Reena, an uptight young South Asian woman. Initially repelled by each other, the two are forced together when they witness a murder disguised as a workplace accident, and their odyssey of investigation and survival slowly rekindles Nicks blackened soul. Simultaneously a murder mystery, a rom-com, and an anarchic ride through the Vancouver B.C. underground, FALL BACK DOWN is a queer-punk romp brimming with ridiculous attitude.
