A Taste of Sri Lanka

We offer a luscious buffet dinner featuring Sri Lankan dishes in an evening to benefit two nonprofits to help families grow in health and hope: Water for People and Oma Village.

The menu:
Kaha Bath - Lightly spiced aromatic long-grained Basmati rice
Kukul Mas Curry Chicken cooked with spices, Sri Lankan herbs and coconut milk
Parippu Hodi Red lentil curry tempered with shallots, garlic and mustard seeds
Curd Sambol Thinly sliced cucumber with refreshing yogurt
Fresh salad stack of lettuce, tomatoes, beets, cucumber and red onions
Vanilla ice cream topped with roasted cashews and palm treacle
Caramel pudding

We will offer complimentary tea, coffee, water and lemonade.
Wine will be available for purchase.

Water for People Since 1991, Water for People has supported development of sustainable clean water supplies in developing countries. Now working in 10 countries, Water for People believes access to safe drinking water and effective sanitation are critical human rights.

Oma Village A supportive housing program planned by Homeward Bound of Marin and Blu Homes, Oma Village in Novato will offer 14 small homes for families exiting homelessness. Homeward Bound of Marin believes in ending homelessness "through training, housing and hope."
