The Bankesters CD Release Concert

Join us for a special night of amazing bluegrass as The Bankesters return to The Old Feed Store!

Recently signing to Compass Records, The Bankesters will be debuting their newest CD "Love Has Wheels".

Love Has Wheels features the regular lineup (singing sisters Emily Bankester on fiddle, Alysha Bankester on mandolin, and Melissa Bankester Triplett on bass, with Kyle Triplett on banjo, and mom Dorene and dad Phil on guitars), along with guest artists Sierra Hull, Josh Williams, Rob Ickes, Jim Hurst, Kenny Malone, and Larry Atamanuik.
The Bankesters have had quite a grand year, their song 'Looking Forward To Looking Back' was the 4th most played song on bluegrass radio for the month of December and took the #1 spot on Bluegrass Today's chart in February. Emily won the first International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum award for vocalist of the year and the band has been nominated IBMA's Momentum award for band of the year.
