Tonight's show features some stellar musicians ready to rock the house with a night of live hip-hop, funk and soul!!
Kabir Sen is a busy man, performing the first Saturday every month at the Lizard Lounge while doing a myriad of other things. He's got a wonderful mix of soul, hip hop, funk, jazz, and rock 'n roll that hits just right. His music is, for lack of a better word, just nice. The lyrics are intelligent and well delivered, and he's not just spitting words over samples and pre-made beats- listening to it, you can hear the talented band around him grooving right along.
He released his 5th album, Olympic Gold, Saturday night November 3rd 2012 at the intimate Lizard Lounge as part of his ongoing residency which has him and The Dub Down performing the first Saturday of every month at the Lizard Lounge. The addition of this Saturday with Kabir and Friends caries on this great tradition and will present a show not to be missed!
