Sacred Economics - public lecture. Centre for Stewardship, Falkland Estate
We live in an abundant world. why do we experience such scarcity, anxiety and insecurity around money? Why are we driving the planet to ruin and how can we change course?
Join the visionary author Charles Eisenstien for an exploration of practical solutions, starting on the personal level and extending to the political. At stake in today's crisis, says Charles, is nothing less than the driving narratives of our civilisation. Everything is changing - including our relationships, our worldview, our inner lives, as well as our social and economic systems.

CHARLES EISENSTEIN is a speaker and writer focusing on themes of civilization, consciousness, money, and human cultural evolution. His viral short films and essays online have established him as a genre-defying social philosopher and countercultural intellectual. Eisenstein graduated from Yale University in 1989 with a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy and spent the next ten years as a ChineseEnglish translator. The author of  Sacred Economics  and  Ascent of Humanity, he currently lives in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

As part of moving toward a "Gift" economy, Charles has requested that his fees for the workshop come from the hearts of the participants of the event. The question will be, "What do you feel this event is worth to you?" You are invited to offer a contribution towards associated costs, taking into account that there will be fees for use of the venue and a wish to give Charles a speakers fee. The suggested price is £10 per person, please pay more if you can, less if you can't.

This evening talk, open to the public, will be a one hour talk followed by a Q & A session. Tea & coffee will be provided.

Places are limited to a maximum of 45 people.

If you are traveling by car and have a spare seat and are willing to offer a lift then please sign at the Freewheelers page giving details of where you are leaving from etc, the page can be found here:
