This year's theme is "Figures of Speech," but any text-based costume is eligible to win a prize. The evening will include raffles, word games, and will culminate in a costume awards ceremony. The best costumes in literary categories will win prizes donated from local business and arts organizations, with a $100 grand prize. Guests are a invited to bring text-based snacks for the text-based food contest. And there is a new category for text-based tattoos.
Local music phenoms, the Portland Cello Project, will perform music throughout the evening. The evening's fare will also include text-based food and games, as well as temporary text-based tattoos.
