Mystic Chorale "We the People"
This fall, the 200+ voices of the Mystic Chorale invite you to join in a celebration of democracy, our voices, and how we shape the world we live in.
The Concert and Sing combines beloved folk anthems of freedom, such as BREAD AND ROSES, Holly Near's SINGING FOR OUR LIVES, and Ysaye Barnwell's version of the Civil Rights song, WOKE UP THIS MORNIN' with anthems of pride including LIFT EVERY VOICE AND SING and Nick's new arrangement of THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER. The basses and tenors will sing the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song, FIND THE COST OF FREEDOM. Our traditional encore with alumni will be Jane Sapp's version of Woody Guthrie's "THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND."
