Outdoor Workshop: TABS & TUBES with Alice Hope
Make Your Own Dynamic Can Tab Creation
SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 | 12-1:30 PM | $25 ($20 for Friends of SAC)
SPACE IS LIMITED. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Workshop will be moved indoors in the theater in case of rain.
From Alice's extensive collection of CLEAN used can tabs, attendees will string them on tubing which can be tied in a knot or any fun shape. By the end of the class they will be transformed into a dynamic work of art for your home.
Class will take place on the west lawn. Materials included.
Alice Hope was recently named the 2018 Woman to Watch for New York by the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She holds an MFA from Yale University and shows at Ricco Maresca Gallery in New York.
Alice's painted Tyvec is on view now on the grounds of SAC as part of the Public Art Project.
