Escape to RED HOOK, with its spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor, for a special neighborhood walking tour ending at acclaimed restaurant Kevin's.
Opened in 2008 to rave reviews of chef Kevin Moore's fresh seafood dishes and locally inspired menu, renovations in the wake of Hurricane Sandy have transformed this cozy spot to a state of relaxed elegance. Marble tables and antique lighting together with original paintings and rustic sign by local artist Chico MacMurtrie create a charming atmosphere radiating with warmth. Dine with a view of the blooming bohemia on Van Brunt Street through large picture windows while savoring the aroma wafting through the French doors of Kevin's open kitchen.
Tour includes an overview of Red Hook's industrial heritage, a visit to local maker Jack from Brooklyn and a tasting of mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres at Kevin's served with JFB's Sparkling Sorel including: - Panko-crusted Tuna with Avocado Tomato Salsa

If a tour is canceled, ticket holders will receive a full refund or, at their option, credit for another tour.
