Bellydance and All That Jazz: Morgiana's Sunday Showcase at Cecil's
Dancelocker presents Bellydance and All That Jazz on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 5:00 PM at Cecils Jazz Club, 364 Valley Rd., West Orange, NJ. Hosted by professional dancer Morgiana Celeste of Glen Ridge-based Mosaic Dance Theater Company, this month's Sunday Showcase features Middle Eastern dancer Audie and The Daughters of Het-Haru and Tribal dancer Kalina Devi and Troupe Tryanga. Also performing are dancers from Studio Morgiana. All tickets are $12.00 plus $10.00 food or beverage minimum. Reservations are strongly recommended. The Sunday Showcase, scheduled on the second Sunday of every month, features New Jersey dancers and teachers of Middle Eastern dance and their students, and is suitable for the entire family. It offers a chance to see professional and student dancers of varying levels, performing classical oriental dance, various folklore styles, as well as fusion and interpretive dance pieces.
