On Stage: Perfecting the art of storytelling performance
Explore your work with a cadre of experienced story coaches. Positive, helpful guidance on up to a 7 minute story in front of a workshop audience. Participants chosen by lottery during session. Each of our cadre of two or three story coaches will respond out loud to each story performance. Their experience and different perspectives will help you explore your work with new excitement and depth. Perform for an empathetic audience of fellow storytellers. Gain new insight into the art of storytelling, whether you're standing up front or listening from deep inside the heart of the story. Coaches to be announced.
Recommended for all that are interested in the art of storytelling, especially teachers, librarians, pastors, parents and beginning performers and anyone who would just like to know how to improve their telling of a good story. This will also be an invigorating review of the basics for more experienced performers. Beginning to Intermediate.
