DERRICK BROWN is a poet, and creator of WRITE BLOODY PUBLISHING, master of the super fun band SPIDER HILL DANCE PARTY (Hot Sluts in the Applebees) and lover to all.
BETH LISICK is half of sketch comedy duo CAROLE & MITZI, the NEW YORK times best-selling author of EVERYBODY INTO THE POOL, and of her newest book Yokohama Threeway: And Other Small Shames, Michael Ian Black says, "...the ultimate joyride for those of us who enjoy cringe-worthy embarrassment, genuine pathos, and an overdosing amount of schadenfreude." She's also the star of indie Film EVERYTHING STRANGE and NEW.
Vocal synthesizer, sound mimic, beatbox mastermind FOGATRON is gonna blow your mind with his beatbox skills. He is endorsed by Soy a clothing company out of Seattle, and in 2004 he won the Portland Mercury Pizzaz competition alongside local rapper Manic D. The New York Times calls Fogatron "The Portland legend."
ALISSA NUTTING is an assistant professor of English and creative writing at John Carroll University, and author of Unclean Jobs for Women and Girls and Tampa. She once grabbed Gene Simmons' left butt cheek, and after her epidural kicked in during the birth of her first and only daughter Sparrow, she ate an orange popsicle while she waited to dilate from 8cm up to 10.
CHELSEA MARTIN CHELSEA MARTIN is an author and illustrator living in Oakland, CA. She writes and illustrates Heavy-Handed, a regular comic on The Rumpus. Her book Even Though I Don't Miss You will be published by Short Flight/Long Drive in fall 2013.
DIANE GASPERIN is living proof that wearing a bolo tie makes you funnier. Being a total dweeb with an hysterical Hungarian mother doesn't hurt, either. A self-proclaimed late-bloomer and talented pet-matchmaker, Diane attended the first Lez Stand Up show in 2010 and has been performing with the Portland-based comedy show ever since.
