EPAD Social Media Surgeries
To support Edinburgh's professional performing arts sector, EPAD will be teaming up with Rachel Arthur from boom saloon to deliver a series of surgeries covering how to make the best use of social media during these changed times.
Whether you're promoting your own work or are part of a company, Rachel can offer support and guidance on how to utilise social media to engage with your audience at a time when were all feeling a disconnect from our usual ways of operating.
The surgeries are designed for those who are new to, or have limited experience of, engaging with social media. Topics covered will include: which platforms are best to work with; how to create content with limited software or experience; and how to form a basic content strategy to engage consistently with your audience.
Run by Rachel Arthur, boom saloon (https://www.boomsaloon.com/) is a global movement to democratise creativity for good, to date collaborating with over 200 contributors, partners and participants around the world. Social media plays a vital role in their business, allowing them to connect with their global audience.
Edinburgh Performing Arts Development (EPAD) is a capacity-building project, supported by the City of Edinburgh Council and Capital Theatres. We act as a facilitator and connector, enabling Edinburgh's independent performing artists and producers to share in the knowledge, experience and facilities within the city's wider cultural infrastructure.
Given the nature of our funding, this opportunity is only open to the professional Edinburgh-based performing arts community.
