American Cinematheque's Road Trip to the Drive-In: THE LOST BOYS / FRIGHT NIGHT
Co-presented by Beyond Fest and the Mission Tiki Drive in Theatre!

Thursday, July 23  8:30 PM
The American Cinematheque's Summer Drive-In Series continues at the Mission Tiki Drive-In Theatre, located at 10798 Ramona Ave, Montclair, CA 91763. The event will include a double feature of THE LOST BOYS / FRIGHT NIGHT.

We recommend arriving up to an hour and a half before showtime, as the line for entering the lot can take a long time. We will have a music playlist to entertain you as you enter.
The drive-in opens at 7:30pm. There are several screens at the theatre (any lane gets you into any screen); Cinematheque signage will direct you to our event.

YOU MUST PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES! Please park your car in a checkerboard pattern.

About the films:

THE LOST BOYS, 1987, Warner Bros., 97 min, USA, Dir: Joel Schumacher. Jason Patric and little brother Corey Haim move to a California coastal town with their mother (Dianne Wiest), only to find it infested by a gang of teenage bloodsuckers led by Kiefer Sutherland. Joel Schumacher directs this bizarre, spooky and often funny hybrid of the Brat Pack and vampire genres.
FRIGHT NIGHT, 1985, Sony Repertory, 106 min, USA, Dir: Tom Holland. In this vampire favorite, Tom Holland creates a blend of true creepiness and 80s horror movie fun. After seeing a coffin carried into the house next door, young Charley Brewster believes his neighbor (Chris Sarandon) is a vampire. Desperate to convince anyone, he enlists Roddy McDowall, who steals the show as the television vampire hunter who is truly a coward. Great visual effects by Richard Edlund.
