The Harvest Moonshine
With great pleasure we present THE HARVEST MOONSHINE! Join us on the farm to celebrate the fall season with music, food, & festivity. The show features Pressure Cooker, the Surviving Kenneallys, local artisans, and a bountiful harvest farm stand!
*The Bands*
PRESSURE COOKER Pressure Cooker is Boston's original old-school reggae band. The group formed in 1997 with a shared passion of Jamaican ska, rocksteady, and reggae music of the sixties and seventies. With these roots as the guide, Pressure Cooker proudly crafted a uniquely Boston old-school reggae sound, reminiscent of the classics and distinguished by infectious rhythm and memorable songs delivered by an all-star, horn-infused super-group. "Songs that have the sound of instant classics." The Boston Globe
THE SURVIVING KENNEALLYS The Surviving Kenneallys play hard-driving original folk and bluegrass. The band is led by writer, singer, guitarist Joe Kenneally and lifted by Moonshine veterans Brighid Mchugh-Mullane on fiddle/vocals and Jesse Wellman on banjo/vocals.
The afternoon begins with a pickin' party, picnic, and farm walk at 3:30pm. Bring your own picnic and break bread with the community. White Barn Farm will have a farm stand with harvest veggies, eggs, locally roasted coffee, Iggy's bread and honey. Instruments, spirits, friends, lovers all welcome :)
*Being a part of the Moonshine community supports the progress of independent, local music, food, and movement.
