The award winning physical comedians of the Picklewater clown cabaret return this September with an original variety arts show in celebration of and to benefit acclaimed local clown duo Coventry and Kaluza.
With a cast of clowns, acrobats and musicians from all across the bay area and around the world, this benefit celebrates the clown duo who touched so many of us. Come see the best of local San Francisco circus with an evening of insane physical comedy, music and mayhem filled with circus artists who have been entertaining international audiences for decades, along side a broad spectrum of special guests.
2013 marks a decade of collaboration for Coventry & Kaluza who met in the SF Circus Center's Clown Conservatory. They have been seen with Sweet Can Productions (recently named Best Theatrical Circus by SF Weekly), the New Pickle Circus, Circus Bella, Circus of Sound, Sun & Moon Ensemble, in festivals and events all over the Bay Area, France and Japan, and by thousands of school children in the Pickle Circus School Tour and the Vegetable Circus. To celebrate their work, and aid in the development of their art, the proceeds from the Cabaret will benefit a new artistic project of the audience's choosing! Special guests include: Carlos "Infinite" Aguirre, members of Pi: The Physical Comedy Troupe, Tristan Cunningham, SAM Luckey, Kathy Gade and more! Come share in the fun of this magical evening.
