American Cinematheque's Road Trip to the Drive-In: BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA / ENTER THE DRAGON
Co-presented by Beyond Fest and the Mission Tiki Drive in Theatre!

Thursday, July 16  8:30 PM
The American Cinematheque's Summer Drive-In Series continues at the Mission Tiki Drive-In Theatre, located at 10798 Ramona Ave, Montclair, CA 91763. The event will include a double feature of BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA / ENTER THE DRAGON.

ARRIVE EARLY!
We recommend arriving up to an hour and a half before showtime, as the line for entering the lot can take a long time. We will have a music playlist to entertain you as you enter.
The drive-in opens at 7:30pm. There are several screens at the theatre (any lane gets you into any screen); Cinematheque signage will direct you to our event.

YOU MUST PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES! Please park your car in a checkerboard pattern.

NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

FM Frequency for the show is: 89.5 FM

About the films:

BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA, 1986, 20th Century Fox, 99 min, USA, Dir: John Carpenter. Ultra-colorful adventure in the grand tradition of 1930s serials, starring Kurt Russell as a cocky truck driver who finds himself battling ancient Chinese warlords and hideous demons to save feisty Kim Cattrall ("Sex and the City"). A great guilty pleasure, and one of Carpenters most purely entertaining genre films.
ENTER THE DRAGON, 1973, Warner Bros., 97 min, USA, Dir: Robert Clouse. Widely hailed as the legendary Bruce Lees finest film, ENTER THE DRAGON also helped break down the doors of American mainstream culture for the martial arts genre. Spectacular nonstop kung fu action as Lee and co-stars John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Bolo Yeung and Robert Wall compete in a deadly martial arts tournament on the island fortress of drug overlord Han (the deliciously evil Kien Shih). With memorable dialogue - "Boards dont hit back!" - by screenwriter Michael Allin, and a killer score by Lalo Schifrin (TVs "Mission Impossible").
