Back to the Future: Creating Sustainable Economies after the Pandemic
The collective shutdown due to the COVID pandemic devastated our economy. While tragic for many, this provided a space for innovation in creating opportunities for intentional living. The experience of the past year distilled life into a stripped down version of what many considered a return to the past. We suggest we do not want to go back to normal but rather build an economy more humane and sustainable. Join us in a celebration of place, diversity and imagination as we find a path Back to the Future rethinking new options for:
Food & Wellness: Setting the Table for Collaboration
Energy Innovations and Solutions
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, RETHINK
This unique version of Expo the will offer:
Virtual booths for each vendor/exhibitor including one on one assistance to develop the booth with multiple opportunities for contact with visitors and sharing of information
Three forums throughout out the day focusing on areas of importance to our audience
Each session will have live and prerecorded tours and workshops Reduce registration fee with scholarship options available. Virtual site available for up to six months following the Expo for continued exposure and interaction
Each vendor/exhibitor will have their own virtual booth. We will have help available to set up your virtual booth for this! There will an area for live chat where people can ask you questions and you can respond in real time. You can highlight your website where you can sell and/or giveaway items. You can also have a raffle/giveaway option for more opportunities to interact.
To avoid processing fees, you have the option to download the application on www.mchenry.edu/greenexpo and send it in with payment. Cost to register Business registrations: $45* Nonprofit: $35*
*As we will be redirecting our costs for Expo to hosting a virtual platform, technical assistance and marketing, our overall costs will decrease. So for this year we have dropped the price to participate the Expo and offered lower cost sponsorship opportunities. We understand that the pandemic has had major impacts on many businesses. Please know that scholarships to cover the registration costs are available. Contact Kim Hankins at khankins@mchenry.edu.
