About the Festival: Each summer at the end of July, we present a three-day event showcasing readings of student work from the Playwrights Lab. Normally, these eight readings are minimally staged at Mill Mountain Theatre's Waldron Stage for the general public and close to a dozen guest professional responders from all over the globe.
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing, Festival readings will be presented live online via Zoom (all times Eastern).
All Festival Readings are free and open to the public. But tickets will be limited.
Details for getting tickets: 1. After reserving a ticket, you will get an email with a confirmation of your reservation, but it won't include the Zoom link or event instructions.
2. YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT WITH THE LINK TO THE PRESENTATION and any additional directions specific to the event.
3. You can join the event up to 15 minutes before the start time and wait in the lobby. The event running time is approximately 90 minutes, including the Q&A.
4. DON'T LIVE ON THE EAST COAST? PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE TIME DIFFERENCE!
