IBC Blues Blast Fund Raiser Concert

This June, the local Delta Blues Duo of Johnny Never and Zep Harpo won the Blues Foundstion regional competition! Now they must raise the funds to travel to the International Blues Challenge and compete for five grueling and exciting days in Memphis, TN, January 21 - 25, 2014.

The October 20th fundraising event will help cover the travel and lodging expenses of these two accomplished (yet underpaid) musicians as they vie for national recognition against hundreds of other competitors. At stake are record contracts, national recognition, national performance bookings, radio play, and cash prizes.

Our fundraiser features SIX GREAT BLUES ACTS in SIX HOURS! All of these bands are volunteering to help Johnny and Zep make it to the Finals in Memphis. These acts are reknown. Great Music and a party atmosphere will abound.

Bands that are performing are:
ROGER GIRKE, with special Guest LEROY HAWKES
BLUE CAT BLUES
THE FRED MILLER BAND
JIMMY PRITCHARD TRIO
BILLY PIERCE BAND
JOHNNY AND ZEP WITH THE NEVER BAND.

All proceeds will go into an escrow account and be applied to the competition.
