Winona LaDuke
Speak Out & Honor the Earth present...
Winona LaDuke (Mississippi Band of Anishinaabeg) is one of the most brilliant and articulate representatives of Indigenous perspectives. She is the Founding Director of White Earth Land Recovery Project and Executive Director of Honor the Earth, where she works on a national level to advocate, raise public support, and create funding for frontline Native environmental groups.

In 1994, Winona was nominated by Time Magazine as one of Americas fifty most promising leaders under forty years of age, and has also been awarded the Thomas Merton Award, the Ann Bancroft Award, MS Magazine Woman of the Year Award (with the Indigo Girls), the Global Green Award, and numerous other honors.
