Join Freshcraft, Odell Brewing Co & Leopold Bros. on Thursday September 26 at 7 pm for a party to celebrate the release of Odell Fernet Aged Porter. Odell Brewmaster Brent Cordle will be in attendance to discuss brewing process with attendees.
Roughly one year ago the Freshcraft team picked up a barrel from the Leopold Bros that had held their Fernet amaro spirit and took it up to Odell Brewing Co in Ft. Collins. Cutthroat Porter was aged in the barrel, resulting in a very tasty & interesting beer. This led to a new beer in the Odell Cellar Series that is to be released in a few weeks from Odell - Odell Fernet Aged Porter - an Imperial Porter inspired by the original "pilot brew".
To celebrate we are throwing a party where we'll be tapping the last known keg of the original beer side by side with new beer before it hits the general market. We'll also be featuring a "Leonetty's Caucasian" a twist on the classic White Russian made entirely with Leopold Spirits - including their Fernet & some delicious food specials.
