Glissando Beethoven+ Concert VII Facebook Livestream
Dear Friends,
I hope this finds all of you and your families well and healthy.
I would like to announce the final concert of Glissando's 2019-20 season (BEETHOVEN+), which, at the same time, will be the first concert of Glissando's new incarnation as a series of live-streamed solo events. The young piano virtuoso Taylor Wang, who has just graduated from the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, where she studied with me for the last three years, will be performing for us on Facebook Live on Sunday, June 7, at 4pm. She will play works by Beethoven (Sonata No. 30 in E, Op. 109); Schumann (Papillons, Op. 2); and Ravel (Gaspard de la nuit). She was supposed to play the Ravel in our fifth concert on March 29 that had to be postponed because of the pandemic. Fortunately, we have the streaming technology. I am really grateful to Taylor for agreeing to perform for us, and I very much look forward to hearing her play!
