The Joy of Cheese Presents Big Cheese for Big Wines
Every autumn some journalist goes off and writes about how hard it is to pair cheeses with red wines. It is hard, but it's far from impossible. There are many fine cheeses that sparkle on the palette without obscuring the virtues of deep, rich, hearty red wines. At our next tasting at 10 Degrees, 121 St. Mark's Place, we will explore the excellent cheeses of the Piedmont, Portugal, Georgia (yes, the southern U.S. state) and others that pair particularly well with cold weather reds.
