Food & Folklore "Homecoming - An Evening with Marita Golden"
Join us at Eatonville Restaurant on Sunday, September 22nd at 6:30 pm for a special edition of our Food & Folklore: Dinner Series!
Award-winning novelist, nonfiction writer, distinguished teacher of writing and co-founder of the Hurston/Wright Foundation, Marita Golden tells stories of family, rebirth, renaissance and how Washington, DC made her a writer.
In addition to showcasing several of her own works, Marita will read some of her favorite passages from "Their Eyes Were Watching God", in honor of the 76th Anniversary of Zora Neale Hurston's beloved novel.
