SEASON SHOWS: AESOP'S FABLES - Aesop was born a slave in 6th Century BC and is heralded as one of the great moral teachers of all time. Aesop tells three entertaining stories of animals that have human foibles and strengths: "The Raven and the Swan", "The Lion and the Mouse", and the "Tortoise and the Hare".

PIXIE AND THE GROCER - by Hans Christian Andersen A Pixie lives comfortably with a greedy Grocer and his wife. One day he observes a poor Poet give up food in exchange for an old book. The incredulous Pixie peeks into the Poet's room and sees the beauty and excitement of poetry dance before his eyes! Now he faces a dilemma...should he switch his services from the rich Grocer to the poor Poet and live a less comfortable life?

TIGER AND THE DRIED PERSIMMON A young tiger, thinking he is the fiercest in all Korea, ventures down a mountainside in search of food. He overhears a mother trying to stop her daughter from crying with a piece of kotgum (dried persimmon). The silly tiger thinks the kotgum must be a very frightening creature if it can instantly stop a child from crying. Afraid that the kotgum will find him, the tiger hides in the barn where a thief is also hiding! TALES OF PETER RABBIT "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" and "The Tale of Benjamin Bunny" are combined to reveal the beloved world of Beatrix Potter. On a beautiful summer morning the lovable hedgehog, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, merrily journeys to the fir tree home of Mrs. Rabbit. She is delivering the freshly washed clothes of Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter. Little does she know that Peter is going to wear his clean blue jacket on a dangerous adventure in Mr. McGregor's garden!
