HELLA TIGHT SHORTS
HELLA TIGHT SHORTS OAKUFF 2013 Presents HELLA TIGHT SHORTS The Humanist Hall, Saturday September 28th, 2:00 PM
Oakland-based graffiti artist GATS (Graffiti Against The System) and his philosophy of connecting to community via art are highlighted in GATS: VOICE OF ART. Find out what it's like to rob a small tobacco shop on the outskirts of town during the year's biggest horse race in SXSW favorite MOUSSE. SIXTEEN SEEDS examines the roles that people of color play in the struggle for food justice. In the parable EL RASTRILLO SE QUIERE COMPROMETER (RAKE'S COMMITMENT), a man searches for something to believe in. And in ROPE A DOPE, meet the Dope, who is stuck repeating the same 'Groundhog Day' cycle, of getting knocked out in a fight, until he decides to take matters into his own hands.
