After you register, you'll receive a Zoom link.

Pour yourself a glass of wine, and join us on Zoom as we explore in detail how we created the Company's favorite works. These event will only be 20-30 minutes.

Each week will feature one dance from Company repertory (see schedule below). We'll start with a short video of a section from one of our dances. We'll describe then how we developed and selected the gestures and movements for the dance. You'll get to hear directly from Company artists about what it was like to learn and perform the dance. And you'll get to ask those burning questions you've always wanted to ask. (Seriously.)

May 22 - I am (not) this body
Hear about similarities and differences in the choreography of each section developed by Winifred Haun & Solomon Bowser.

May 29 - Promise
The opening women's duet forms the foundation for this much beloved evening length work. Learn how the contrasting dance phrases of the two women were developed.

June 5 - Trashed
Trashed was developed by a grant from the MacArthur Foundation. Trashed combines contemporary dance with circus arts. You'll learn what it was like for dancers to learn circus acrobatics and for circus artists to dance.
