Online Elective: Frame and Focus with Jutta Tilvis
What really differentiates movies from plays is that filmmakers have control over the audiences field of view.
When improvising to the camera you have the power either to show less and keep viewers guessing or show more and draw the audience in! Just a simple closeup can highlight something important that a viewer might miss on an entire stage with all the actors on it.
Whether it's your detailed object work or a subtle shift in your facial expression, that is up to you! In this workshop we will play around with camera angles and learn just how they can draw us into the feelings of a character, create comedic effects, or simply add some drama to your online scenes!
This class takes place on May 16th from 2pm-4.30pm and costs £15. As we are offering free tickets to those who are unable to afford them, we are also offering an option to buy a place for yourself and a place for someone less able to afford it.
If you would like to request a free place, please email classes@thenurserytheatre.com
All sales are final.
