Max Presents "Constructing Successful D/S Scenes: Using What You Have to Get What You Want - an ONLINE class"
Perhaps you've witnessed a D/S scene where energy and intention radiate from the individuals taking part. Where the emotional connection is so deep, and the dance between authority and surrender is so palpable, you feel as though you're intruding.
It seems effortless, as if the scene somehow "just happened". We know that's not the case though - successful D/S encounters take skill, effort, and thoughtfulness. The good news is that all of this can be learned.
Scenes are like stories. We'll start off analyzing the narrative arc of a D/S scene, breaking down the components, from consent and negotiation, through the meat of the scene, and finally the finish and the aftercare involved. Breaking the scene into components makes it easier to get started and easier to keep it going.
This workshop provides the tools you need to create your own successful D/S scenes - building your skill sets, strengthening your communication skills, and bolstering your self-confidence. Whether you're looking for 24x7 D/S or a sexy date, there's something here you can use.
We'll talk about stumbling blocks, opportunities, and potential problems. Attendees will learn how to avoid - and recover from - common D/S scene mistakes.
All parties in a scene have a role to play, and all parties have responsibilities. We'll lay this out in ways that help both the dominant and the submissive contribute to the scene and its success.
This workshop will be filled with demos, lecture, some easy exercises, and lots of time for discussion and Q&A. As with all of Max's workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.
You do not need to be partnered - or have a partner at the workshop - to benefit from this event.
This workshop assumes no previous BDSM experience, and is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms.

Max has been active in Seattle's kink community since 1992 and has been teaching bondage, BDSM, and polyamory workshops since 1999.
While he is proficient with a wide range of BDSM skills, Max especially enjoys the intimacy of rope bondage and the intensity of the singletail. Max projects a gentle, dominant energy, and all of his relationships - and most of his scenes - include a substantial D/S component.
Max's love of teaching shines through his workshops, and his love for people informs his personal encounters.
