Prevedelli Organic Apple Farm Tour and Tasting

UPDATED TO ADD LUNCH VENUE. PLEASE SEE BELOW.

Join us on a farm tour and apple tasting led by Nick Prevedelli, grandson of the founder of this family-run apple, pear and berry farm in Watsonville. Our visit will include an overview of the apple sorting system in operation (custom built by the family) and of the process of preparing for the weekend farmer's markets.

Prevedelli Farms grows a wide variety of apples, both well known and relatively unusual heirloom varieties. As part of our visit we will tour the orchard and sample some of this delicious fruit.

Children are welcome!

Afterwords we will gather at Gabriella Cafe a local, slow restaurant in Santa Cruz, where participants may purchase a lunch of their choosing. RSVP to info@slowfoodsouthbay.org.
