Central Terminal Historical Building Tour
The historical tour of the Buffalo Central Terminal starts at the turn of the century when the City and Rail powerbrokers collaborated and collided while planning for this East Side landmark. We will take you through the 20th century of boom and bust, and into the 21st century of the dawn of a new future. The Buffalo Central Terminal is located at 495 Paderewski Drive, Buffalo NY. The entry is at the intersection of Paderewski Drive and Memorial Drive. Parking is available immediately adjacent to the Central Terminal. The tour has significant periods of time walking and standing. We are able to arrange seating and various locations if you contact us in advance. In general, the tour will access the Main Concourse and lower lobby. Tours start promptly at 11 AM and last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We will gather outside or within the Concourse that can be accessed through the open door under the canopy.
The tour is recommended for children over the age of 10.
All interior photographs taken at the Buffalo Central Terminal are for personal use only. Tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed during the tour. They present a safety hazard to our visitors and tour guides and are distracting to the visitor experience. Drones are never allowed on site because they are a danger to the nesting and endangered Peregrine Falcons (who are also likely to down a drone).
While on the tour, visitors may be photographed by Buffalo Central Terminal photographers for use in promotion of events like these.
Tours are $15.00. Thank you for supporting the Buffalo Central Terminal.
