Alchemy Theatre Troupe is a community theatre company based in Huntington and Barboursville, WV on a mission to forge powerful connections of emotions and ideas between artists and audiences through theatre that transforms the community. We endeavor not just to create high quality theatre in a kind, safe, and supportive atmosphere, but to use our talents to make positive change in the world around us.

COVID-19 Impact on the Arts
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused economic hardship for arts organizations the world over, and Alchemy is no different. The national quarantine will doubtless force us to postpone or cancel parts of our planned season. Your kind donation will help us to weather the storm ahead and keep up with our expenses. Any amount helps!
In the isolation of the quarantine, people are turning to artists for entertainment, diversion, and hope. We at Alchemy are working to find ways to practice our craft and work toward our mission while still maintaining social distancing guidelines. Check out our first project in partnership with WV Shakes - "The Play's the Thing"!

Please know that any donation you make, of any amount, will go to help keep our staff and business going and to keep our heads above water until we are allowed to begin rehearsing and performing again. We can't thank you enough for your kindness.
Local Benefits and Economic Stimulus
In addition to helping with our mission, we believe the successful promotion of our work will bring tourists to the Tri-State area after the resolution of the pandemic. This will result in additional revenue for local restaurants, shops and hotels. We hope that we can count on your support.
Business Sponsorships
For businesses looking for outreach opportunities, we offer many partnership levels for single performances or for an entire run's series of performances. Single performance sponsorships will be available on the event page for that show, or by emailing us at alchemytheatrewv@gmail.com.
Each partnership level comes with its own benefits and recognition for the sponsor:
Any Donation - $1-$499
This level doesn't come with any particular benefits besides our sincere gratitude, but it is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use!
Sustaining Partner - $500-$1499
As a Sustaining Partner, you'll receive 4 complimentary season tickets, 1/4 page ad in every program for the season, and your name and logo will appear on alchemytheatretroupe.org for the duration of the season.
Dramatist's Patron - $1500-$2499
As a Dramatist's Patron, you'll receive 6 complimentary season tickets, and your name and logo will appear on alchemytheatretroupe.org for the duration of the season. For every show, you'll receive a 1/2 page ad in the program and public acknowledgement in the curtain speeches before all performances.
Magician's Apprentice - $2500-$4999
As a Magician's Apprentice, you'll receive 8 complimentary season tickets, and your name and logo will appear on alchemytheatretroupe.org for the duration of the season. For every show, you'll receive a full page ad in the program, public acknowledgement in the curtain speeches before all performances, and a framed poster signed by the entire cast. You'll also receive two bottles of wine, hors d'oeurves, and VIP seating for our Shakespeare in the Park show at Barboursville Park!
Entertainer's Benefactor - $5000+
(only one per season!)
As a Entertainer's Benefactor, you'll receive 12 complimentary season tickets, and your name and logo will appear on alchemytheatretroupe.org for the duration of the season, as well as on our full-season sponsorship banner! For every show, you'll receive a full page ad in the program, public acknowledgement in the curtain speeches before all performances, and a framed poster signed by the entire cast. You'll also receive four bottles of wine, hors d'oeurves, and VIP seating for our Shakespeare in the Park show at Barboursville Park!
We are recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Part of your sponsorship may be tax-deductible.
