LE BONHEUR: TERRE PROMISE
"For you, what is happiness?" After surviving a life-changing accident, filmmaker Laurent Hasse sets out one winter morning to walk across France to find the answer. With a backpack, a camera and little else, he walks from the Pyrenees to the coast of Northern France. By breaking ties with his routine and relying on the kindness of strangers, he discovers a new way to look at the hopes and dreams of the people of his country. This seemingly simple question yields answers that are sometimes surprising, but always poignant, and prompt viewers to interrogate their own bliss.
