Northwest Airlines Flight 6231 crashed in Harriman State Park on December 1, 1974, just minutes after taking off from Kennedy Airport, on its way to Buffalo. The HSRC invites you to hike with us to the 1974 commercial plane crash site and memorial.

HIKERS MUST BRING THEIR OWN WATER AND SNACKS AND WEAR STURDY HIKING FOOTWEAR FOR THIS HIKE.
Notes: - Space on this hike is strictly limited to ensure safe physical distancing. - All participants MUST wear a mask/facial covering when six feet of distance is not maintained. - A waiting list will be compiled (call 845-634-9629), and spaces that become available will be filled on a first come, first served basis. - If interest is high, we'll schedule more hikes in the early fall!
